Your initial healthcare provider will refer you to a general surgeon when your ailments or diagnosis exceed their capabilities.
3Do I need a referral to visit Dr Botes?
Usually, you would not require a referral to see Dr Botes, but certain medical aids require a GP referral letter prior to seeing a specialist.
4Do I need to make an appointment with Dr Botes?
It is best advised you make an appointment with Dr Botes by calling the practice to schedule a booking or through email.
5What do I need to bring with me?
Dr Botes uses an online system called Logbox. This is an online system where you can fill out your (and any dependents) medical details. If you have ever filled out your details on Logbox with a different medical practitioner, then Dr Botes will be able to access it with your permission. No further details will be required. If you can’t fill out the form or need help to do it online, he will have the facilities available to fill out this form using their facilities in his room.
